The Maier Well Project
20,000 beneficiaries
The village of Maier faces a severe shortage of drinking water that affects about 20,000 people among its residents, and the Maier Well Project came as a direct response to this pressing need.
The project was carried out together with the local water company. The artesian well was drilled and the infrastructure needed to draw the water and distribute it to the community was put in place.
The well’s pump runs on electricity, connected in coordination with the Turkish electricity company, which keeps it operating without interruption and the water flowing reliably.
This project reflects Bateel’s approach of investing in vital infrastructure so that the impact lasts and the basic needs of the communities it serves are met.
